I Want To Move To CDA!
Hi there! I just love the area, and am planning on moving there in a few months. I was wondering if anyone could give me some hints about housing (rentals), jobs, or anything else that might be useful? I lived there about 13 years ago. I know it has grown a lot! Would you say that spring is a good time to move there? I'm coming from San Diego, Ca. Thanks!

Another good source for rentals and jobs is to use the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Craigslist site. You'll have to wade through the usual junk ads, but there are some good ones in there too. http://spokane.craigslist.org/

It's a great little town.
I've lived all over the place and I just can't stay away from this area. If you're looking to rent when you get here, I'd look into North Idaho Rental Company http://northidahorental.net/. I've gone through them and they're one of the better rental places out there. The resort is always hiring if you need a job. They don't pay a lot but I know tons of people who worked there when they first moved up here while waiting for something better to open up. I hope it works out for you to move up here. I'm sure Coeur d'Alene has changed quite a bit since the last time you saw it.
