Lewis & Clark State College, CdA - Closed
North Idaho College - Closed
Post Falls School District - Closed
University of Idaho, CdA - Closed

At this time only two school districts in the North Idaho area are closed today (11/18/2011).

Lake Pend Oreille District in Bonner County is Closed

West Bonner County District in Bonner County is Closed

All others are open, and busses are running on time, including Coeur d'Alene, Lakeland, and Post Falls.

Registration is now available for Coeur d'Alene Youth Basketball, grades 3-5. You can register your child at the City's Recreation office between October 3 and October 7. Practices begin the week of October 24, and games begin the week of November 7. You can pre-print your registration form here.

For kids in grades 6-8 basketball registration will be October 16-27 with practices beginning the week of November 7 and games beginning the week of November 18. Their registration form is available here.

Kootenai County elections are tomorrow, May 17, for various school district trustees and highway commissioners throughout the Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls areas. Please note that these elections are by district, and not all candidates will be available on your ballot. In some cases, there will be no ballot for your area, due to uncontested seats. The polls will be open from 8:00a to 8:00p.
