Citylink Bus System
Coeur d'Alene's public transportation consists primarily of the Citylink bus system. Citylink is a transportation service provided free of charge by the Coeur d'alene Casino in conjunction with the Kootenai Metropolitan planning organization. There are four main routes covering the Coeur d'Alene/ Post Falls metropolitan area and rural areas to the south with a main transfer station located at Riverstone.
The Blue or "B" Route bus leaves the Riverstone transfer station every 60 minutes. Route B goes west toward Post Falls along Seltice.
The Green or "C" Route bus leaves the Riverstone transfer station every 60 minutes and makes a circuit around Coeur d'Alene, from downtown to as far north as Honeysuckle Ave.
The Brown or "Rural" Route bus provides service between DeSmet in Benewah County, and the southern transfer station located at the Coeur d’Alene Casino. Rural buses stop in the towns of Worley, Plummer, Tensed and DeSmet.
The Yellow or "Link" Route bus provides connectivity between the northern transfer station at Riverstone, and the southern transfer station located at the Coeur d’Alene Casino. A Link bus leaves Riverstone every 85 minutes.
