Cherry Hill only recently received its playground and paved parking but it has been a sweet sledding hill for as long as I can remember. Now it's better known for its fireman hat styled playground equipment that can easily be seen from 15th Street. There are also trails heading up the hill from the main park that offer a nice hiking experience.

This park is very beautiful and family friendly. Unfortunately there seems to be no dog prohibitions and there were multiple dogs running loose and defecating all around. I think CDA should either enforce a pick up after your dog law and or prohibit them all together. With children around (as it has a nice play area. The risk of disease or infection should not be overlooked, And yes I know this is Idaho where we want our freedom. But in the event that people can not clean up after themselves or their pets, the public needs to do it.( either in the form of laws or loss of personal freedoms).
People definitely need to curb their dogs at the parks. Numerous times I've been playing disc golf and a dog has run in and scooped up my disc. Haven't had that problem at Cherry Hill, but at Bluegrass it happens pretty often.
Luckily, Coeur d'Alene is getting its own Dog Park this year, so hopefully more people will let their dogs run there and keep them on-leash when at the other parks.
