Heyburn State Park is the oldest state park in the Pacific Northwest. It sits at the southern end of Lake Coeur d'Alene where the St. Joe river enters it. The park has 132 camp sites in three campgrounds: Chatcolet, Hawleys Landing and Benewah. Campsites start at around $12.00 a night for tents and up to $22 a night for RVs. Cabins are also available for $115 a night. Campsites can be reserved by calling (866) 634-3246.
