Most guests remembered to bring blankets or chairs to sit in for the movie, which was a good thing, because the grass gets cold after dusk!

Parks Day first occurred in 2008 as an event to help facilitate more knowledge about Coeur d'Alene's many beautiful parks and outdoor opportunities. Parks Day 2008 featured Bluegrass, Ramsey, and Riverstone parks. In 2009 Parks Day was held in the Shadduck Lane and Cherry Hill parks and also featured the Canfield Mountain Trails. 2010's featured parks were Sunshine Meadows and Landings parks.
