Free Meals for Veteran's Day 2011

As a show of appreciation, some restaurants offer the gift of a free meal in honor of our veterans on Veterans Day.

The restaurants we know of who are giving free food to veterans this year are:

Applebees

Free lunch for veterans from 11:00a to 2:00p. Choose from one of 10 entrees plus a choice of non-alcoholic beverage (Coke products, tea, coffee).

Please remember to bring proof of service in order to receive these offers. Typical proof includes: Uniform Services ID Card, Retired ID Card, Current Leave & Earnings Statement, a Veterans Organization Card, Discharge Papers, Citation or Commendation. Applebees will also accept a photograph of you in uniform.
