Road Closures for Friday's Parade

If you read this week's events calendar, you already know that Coeur d'Alene's Lighting Parade this year is at 5:00p on Friday and travels along Sherman from 8th St to the Northwest Blvd & Government Way intersection near City Park.

Today, one of our great community members forwarded information regarding the street closures for the parade.

At about 2:00p, police will begin blocking off Sherman Avenue from 15th St to the end of the parade route. The closures are marked in the map below with the parade route in red and the additional street closures in blue.

Additionally, parade & fireworks parking will not be allowed in the Kootenai County Administration Building's parking lot this year.

Other routes may be closed at police discretion, including the Highway 95 entrances and exits at Northwest Blvd.
