Ski Resorts are opening for the 2011-12 Season!

Schweitzer Mountain Resort has announced that it will open on Saturday, November 19, it's earliest opening in 25 years!
Schweitzer currently has about 20 inches of snow at the top of the mountain, and 12 inches at the base with six inches of new snow in the last 12 hours.

The mountain will be open on Saturday & Sunday from 9:00a to 3:30p, and lift tickets are $40/person age 7+ The regular season starts on Thanksgiving weekend.

Lookout Pass opens on Friday, November 18.
Lookout has 32 inches of snow at the summit and 18 inches at the base with 10 inches of new snow. They expect to have at least 16 runs open this weekend and are charging reduced lift ticket prices of $29 for adults, $27 for college/military, $20 for kids 7+, $20 for seniors, and kids 6 or under are free!

The mountain will be open this weekend Friday through Sunday from 8:30a to 4:00p, and the regular season begins on Thanksgiving Day.

Mt. Spokane currently has 12 inches of snow both at its summit and at the ski lodge.

Silver Mountain Resort is planning to open by the last week of November with a tentative date of November 25.
Silver Mountain currently has 20 inches of snow at Kellogg Peak and 15 inches mid-mountain with six inches of new snow overnight.

Their hours are 9:00a to 3:45p for the lifts, and 8:15a to 5:00p for the gondola. Ski lift passes range from $31 to $51, and Snow Tubing passes range from $18 to $22. Gondola ride only is $17 for adults and $13 for kids & seniors. Kids 4 and under, free. More ticket information

49 Degrees North has not yet given an indication of when their ski season will start. 49^o North currently has 15 inches of snow at the summit and 10 inches at the lodge.

The mountain will be open from 9:00a to 3:30p through January 20, and open til 4:00p after that. April 2-April 8 is Toyota Ski Free week at 49^o North, and there will be no lift ticket charge. Ticket prices range from $37 to $54 for ages 7+, but there is a $2 discount for ordering online. Youth 6 & under tickets are $10/each ($8 when ordering online).
