Where are you going to be on the 4th?

Coeur d'Alene's Fourth of July celebration is second to none. It all kicks off at 11:00 on Saturday morning with the American Heroes Parade. The parade travels from 15th and Sherman and ends at Government Way and Northwest Blvd. Immediately after the parade, continue the festivities with games, food, and activities in the City Park. Fireworks start at dusk.

Coeur d'Alene Church of the Nazarene will be hosting their Community 4th of July picnic from 1:00-4:00 PM -- hot dogs & hamburgers provided, bring your own side dish to share! The Resort will be hosting their Steak & Sparklers event from 6:00-9:00 Adult tickets are $70, tickets for children 3-12 are $40.

The Resort also opens its pool deck from 6:00-11:00 for fireworks viewing. Tickets are $40 and include three drinks.

The third Resort offering is a fireworks cruise which boards from 8:00-9:00 at the Independence Point dock. Tickets are available at $55.75 and selling fast, so call ahead to reserve your tickets.

Other area events on Independence Day include the Bead Stampede at the North Idaho Fairgrounds and the Fireworks Extravaganza at Silverwood.
