Phippeny Park (also known as G.O. Phippeny Park) is an older park, tucked away in the heart of Coeur d'Alenes' midtown residential area. It has lots of beautiful trees that provide ample amounts of shade and the playground was updated just a few years ago. Many species of trees are represented in the park, and most are labeled with their names for those with an interest in dendrology.

The park's name is periodically misspelled as "Phipenney."

Phippeny Park is the former site of the old Coeur d'Alene High School, which later became a community center before being closed in 1983. The buildings were later razed and the site become a park in 1989.
