Recently my wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Bistro on Spruce. This was our first visit to this tasty CDA restaurant. The decor and service were excellent. If it had been slightly cooler, we would have sat outside on their large patio area. My wife enjoyed a veggie sandwich (it had some sort of huge grilled mushroom in it) along with what she described as a very yummy salad while I devoured a very, very good hamburger and fries.

We then decided that since this was our first time at Bistro on Spruce, that we would sample one of their desserts. We chose to split an ice cream sandwich. This was an excellent choice! Their version of an ice cream sandwich involves the following: two very large white chocolate macadamia nut cookies with vanilla ice cream stuffed in between. Then half of this concoction is dipped into milk chocolate. It was sliced into pieces and served with a nice white chocolate raspberry sauce on the side. Delectable!

We were definitely pleased with our experience at Bistro on Spruce. Prices are fair (lunch, two regular beverages and dessert was $27). Their lunch menu runs until 4pm. The dinner menu looks very scrumptious as well. So, I guess we'll have to return at dinner time!

Hmm....

I think I ate here one time but I don't remember it being called the Bistro on Spruce. Was this place bought out recently or am I just a little bit crazy?

hehe

I say you're crazy, but that's just me... haha

Crazy is a Likely Conclusion

I must admit that you might be a bit crazy, but I believe the new owners have had the restaurant for a little more than a year now. By the way...why does this review say that you wrote it??? This is my masterpiece, haha.

Oh, I re-posted it from where

Oh, I re-posted it from where it was originally so my name was put on the review.
